Pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airguns are highly versatile and incredibly powerful. From pest control, to special ops, from entertainment, to economical plinking, modern airguns belong in everyone's arsenal.

The .22 caliber is the most aerodynamic, and is a great place to start. To save money, or shoot smaller animals, the .177 cal is a great choice, but you will be limited to shorter distances. The .25 cal is a great balance of power and affordability.

Slugs are the best projectile for long range precision, and are available in all calibers, even as small as .177 (4.5mm). Larger airguns, known as "big-bore," are capable of taking down animals like the African wildebeest. You can shoot 50 caliber slugs if you insist.
